Carson Gross (the creator of HTMX) joins us to demo his new project, The Montana Mini-Computer, an imaginary retro architecture created to visually show the inner workings of a CPU.
Carson is my professor at MSU and can confirm he’s such a meme lord, even during lecture. His office door is covered in printed out HTMX and hypermedia memes that he’s taped to it. My buddy worked on the MTMC but said it was nightmare to work in assembly and the JVM at the same time.
Kudos to the crew tho, they made something really cool and love that it’s getting shown outside of campus.
cpu + gpu version would be sick. learning how gpus work is still on my todo list
